<<Short Notice>> Halloween On The Trails in Calallen.

Were planning another day oin the trails this Saturday. Last weekend we went out there knowing it would be dry, but managed to find some deep mud holes and got a ton of great footage. This weekend will be better since it recently rained and we'll have more rigs in attendence. So far what will be there for sure is me of coarse, an 09 Dodge Ram TRX4, an 06 Silverado Z71, an 06 Dodge Ram 2500d, an a newly acquired 07 Jeep Wrangler X. Hopefully I can get more to go.

We will be wheeling on railroad right-of-way. To get to it you have to drive on the edge of a farm field. I know the farmers nephew and have his consent to go out there. Once we're in there we are far enough away from people that they cant hear us or see us.

Farmers rulses:
1. Drive in my field.
2. Dont make the ruts by my field worse.
3. Dont call me when you get stuck.

Head I37 North towards S.A. Exit Sharpsburg Rd (Exit 15 I think). Take right on sharpsburg. Cross tracks and immediately take left onto trail. There is a smoother way in. Call me if you want to go and need info. 361-947-4thousand4

Good turnout. We had 6 rigs and an ATV out there. The holes were still muddy and the trails closer to the river had standing water. We hit everything out there. Most of uss got stuck at leat once. Andy's newly purchased JK was a beast. Bald street tires and all, it went everywhere we did. (He'll be on here soon.) On our way out some dude stopped to shoot the shit about my jeep. We exchanged numbers, and about 10 min after I got showered he calls and asks if I can help pull him out of a rut. So at about 8pm I headed back out. Took about 30 min to find him. Turns out he blew up his front diff. It was worth it, I found out night wheeling is FUN!

night wheeling is tons of fun, as long as your not going to work the next day.


did that dude get his diff swapped out or fixed?

I dont know. After I sent him a text with all the info you gave me, I never heard from him again. Turns out he lives in the same apartment as one of the guys that was with us. He hasnt seen his jeep there since.
